Just tested the FC-12 with larger display. Very big improvement for guys with old eyes like myself! I can actually see the text without squinting or bending over for a closer look! I could probably see the text without wearing corrective lenses! BIG improvement IMHO!

I picked a great pair with axefx3. Outstanding. So many features.

I originally got the FC-6, but regretted it after realizing the versatility of the axeFX3 and having only the 6. If you are on the fence about spending the extra $ for the 12, just get it, you won’t be disappointed

We can finally control our sound changes according to our own logic and according to our own needs.

When I first received the FC-12 I was a bit confused about how to get it to work how I wanted it to. My best advice is to not be scared and just try and make your own layout. Once I started it was easy and the FC-12 is amazing. It does just what I want it to and is extremely flexible. The build quality is top notch and better than any other foot controller I’ve had. If you have an Axe FX3 this is a must have and I highly recommend it.

Great product and built rock solid. I have yet to use the unit as I bought it in anticipation of use with my FM3 using the OMG9 settings but wanted first to find out what would happen if after changing to OMG9 would the system glitch if I disconnected the FC6 to use the FM3 to adjust presets etc. or simply to move it around my house, then later reconnect to the FC6 using OMG9.

I love the small foot print size of this compact powerhouse.

What a way to take an already incredible product (Axe FX III) and make it as functional in a live setting as it is in a studio rack. The FC-12 is simple to set up with and endless array of options that are presented clearly!

Very configurable. This can make it confusing to work with, but if the time is taken, the versatility can be utilized.

I must say after using the FC12 for about 5 minutes I was just amazed. I works flawlessly with the Axe III, it is truly plug and play. The best part is no extra cables, just connect it to the Axe III and it provides the power.

Definitely worth the purchase!! Made everything so much easier and quicker to navigate! A must have for FM3 users!

This pedalboard was an amazing addition to my Axe Fx III, I just didn’t realize it until I started using it outside the studio.

I purchased the FC-12 as part of a package deal with the Axe Fx III. I debated going with the FC-6 but it was such a good deal I thought why not get the most flexibility I can?

This foot controller is built like a tank. When you step on it, you definitely don’t feel like you’re going to break anything which is great since it’s such an integral part of the rig.

The FC-12 provides SO much functionality. It can be configured through Axe-Edit to switch between presets, scenes, effects, and other key things that a player would need. Each button can be configured with a press-release function, but also a hold function. For example – when looking at my presets, if I hold down any button, it takes me to the Scenes layout and every screen on the FC-12 then displays the name of a Scene I can easily switch to. I also have a button assigned to the Effects layout – hitting that while in any Scene will give me access to all of the effects that I can then control individually.

The screen is big and easy to read – when you switch the tuner on you get a nice display on the FC-12 in case you can’t get to the actual unit or see it clearly – very helpful.

What REALLY great is that if you are using only one FC-12, you plug it into the III with a standard XLR cable which gives it power – super useful. If you decide you need two FC-12s, you would need to get a power supply for the other one. Not an issue for my application though so it’s great to not have to have another power cord on stage.

if thinking about purchasing, download the manual and give it a read – may be hard to digest some of it without having it in front of you but what I will say is that if you decide to go with the FC-12, you’ll be happy with how much config you can do and if you’re looking at it for a live show, it will really help to reduce the thinking you have to do to get to the sound you want and let you focus more on playing after you get it set up.

This foot controller looks good, is solidly built, and works great. With its controllably bright data displays, colorfully bright switch indicators as well as 12 soft switches, it is a dream to use and has enough real estate to limit the need for changing the layout to get to a needed control mid song. I also love how Fractal decided to use an XLR cable to connect the FC to the Axe-Fx, as Cat-5 (et al) cables can have such a short lifespan when not tucked behind a desk, for a computer. A fitting member of the Fractal team!

While the FC-6 is a 6-switch controller, it behaves like so much more. With recent upgrades to the FC controls, the little brother can feel almost like the FC-12, maybe like you folded it in half. On each layout, you can now have the 6 switches assigned to a certain function, and then toggle and the same switches are now assigned to six other functions. It is brilliant. It’s wonderful to choose between the FC-6 when you might have a small stage and very little room, or to full bore with the FC-12 when room isn’t an issue. Both sizes are solid, dependable as well as sexy as hell! I love them both!

The FC-12 is amazingly flexible and you can customize it to be anything you want. But its default programming is so good, I don’t think it needs a thing.

This device has a ridiculous amount of flexibility. I haven’t even uncovered half of what it can do but so far in finding great new creative ways to set it up. In my estimation, it can do 16 x what another foot controller can do with the same number of switches… I’m hoping they will put the USB in to good use in the near future.

FAS really made sure to consider all aspects of a solid UI with the FC-12. I was using a MIDI controller before to control scene changes, but FC-12 is so much easier to use and program. It really does cut down on the frustration and lets you just focus on playing more. If you’re gonna be controlling the Axe III with a controller, the FC controllers are definitely worth it.

This foot controller is built like a tank! I love the fact that I can now connect my foot controller to my AXE FX III using a mic cable. The engineering upgrades on this pedal really are monumental. The flexibility and possibilities are endless. Thanks Fractal!!

I thought the MFC-101 was the cat’s ass until I got my FC-12. Amazing!

Great compact controller for the Axe-Fc III. This thing is built like a tank! I love the size and the flexibility you have for such a small footprint.
